SS19 Red Tie Dye Splatter Denim

This denim was part of the last 205W39NYC collection and fell heavily under the radar, while being a very beautiful and almost perfect fitting jeans with the highest possible denim quality as usual for the expensive 205W39NYC. The turqiouse color gets finished by a multicolor tie-dye splatter all over the garment. 

The SS19 collection from Calvin Klein 205W39NYC was something very special, meanwhile very sad as it was Raf's Goodbye to Calvin Klein after more than 2 years of collaborative work. The whole show was a tribute to american cinema with the movies „Jaws“ and „The Graduate“ being the main inspiration.

Simons called them “very important movies in my memory.” Explaining his attraction, he said “Disasters happen but they turn again into beauty, and beauty is around us and it can oftentimes turn into disaster.”

The references to the movie Jaws were quite literal with the iconic Artwork being used throughout the collection, printed on denim pieces, t-shirts, hoodies and knitwear, it became one of our favorite collection from the brand.
