The legendary Biker Jogger was originally introduced by Haider Ackermann for his historical FW14 Collection, with Kanye West ultimately making it a "grail" by showcasing it with his Red Octobers. After many years, Haider started to re-introduce the Jogger for SS18, bringing it back in more colorful editions. This White Velvet Version stems from SS19, a season where the Biker Jogger came in velvet form, Haider's often used tool for comfort and luxury.
Spring / Summer 2019 marked Haider‘s first collection after his tenure at the Maison Berluti. His time at Berluti left a permanent mark on his own label, first visible in the SS19 collection, it was also the first time he presented both the womens- and mens collection in one show.
Less accessories, more tailoring and a overall more sharp silhouette were the key themes of this seasons collection. Intricate laser-cutting details and stunning jacquard were some of the shows highlights.
