FW19 Mona Lisa Print Silk Shirt

This Piece features one of the artworks by artist Raymond Pettibon, which is a reinterpretation of the most valuable painting in the world, Mona Lisa. Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic subject is turned into watercolor-style imagery, printed on a lavish silk material. 

Christian Dior was a passionate art collector and gallery owner long before he became a fashion designer. In order to continue transferring this affinity for art to the fashion house, today's designer of the label Kim Jones oriented himself towards collaborations with great artists, such as a collection with the American painter Raymond Pettibon for the artistic ready-to-wear pieces of Dior’s Fall-Winter 2019 runway show.
