It was FW19, a year passed since Haider Ackermann’s departure from Berluti and fan’s were excited to see him in his fullest form again. Even tho there were always women walking across the menswear runway of Haider to draw a line between his male and female silhouette, he always had a separate show for womenswear only. That started to change in SS19, when they only did one show for both, which made it even more important to pay attention to every detail.

For Fall Winter 2019 Haider presented a very somber and aggressive collection. Violent reds, sharp whites and deep blacks were the seasons main colors. Oversized coats styled with skinny trousers and Haider’s signature pointy footwear could be seen in some of the collections best looks. We also saw return of some his most desired styles such as the tailored F/W14 low-rise trousers or the F/W14 oversized raglan coats.

The beautiful dark-red atmosphere set the tone for the collection and ultimately helped haider prove once and again, that he is one of the best designer to show up for PFW.
