In 2017 Haider Ackermann brought Punk to Paris Fashion Week and presented one of his most astonishing collections. He always hade a great hand when it comes to colour and making literally every of his crazy idea appealing, but this time, he went over the top and even further.

He left behind the dark flavour of last season and jumped to the other end of the colour spectrum with a collection of flashy lights and colours. It was once again decadence and evtravagance in form of silk that set the tone for the collection, but in different form.

“I have this gang of young kids around me. And they are full-on. And I wanted to capture their energy. They are just kids who want to dance and party and be happy. They don’t have the heaviness of the world.”

With this statement in mind, it’s visible that youthful spirit floates in these oversized silk kimono shirts, leather tight pants and electrically colourful bombers. Youth presented by Haider is nothing he should not do – it’s distinctly Parisian, slightly bourgeoisie, but insanely beautiful.
