The Collection

In his Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Haider Ackermann convinced with a collection of glowing looks cultivated from a dreamy palette, opulent fabrics and incredibly elegant silhouettes all casually glancing models on the parisian residence gathering.
The looks sparked the beginning of a new glamorous spirit that Haider later on followed with some of his most lavish and extravagant creations ever.

As his creative influence, the columbian designer took rock and roll out of the drawer. Ackermann’s main inspiration for the collection was Keith Richards, whose energy the designer‘s fascinated by. Figures like Richards or Iggy Pop radiated a freedom that we would lack today, Ackermann explained.

Before the collection, the designer went to his first Stones concert. "They're not my generation, but their energy was beyond fantastic," he said. "Keith took my scarf and wrapped it around his waist. There was just a natural decadence."

The silhouettes are wildy flowing with long scarves or varsity silk jackets, crumpled trousers and gilets in purple, olive, aubergine and other beautiful tones. For the rockstar as a bohemian, Haider received more than justs words of praise.
